Does PeptidePriceMatch Accept Payment From Vendors for Rankings?
We get this question regularly, and it deserves a straight answer: No. PeptidePriceMatch does not accept payment from vendors in exchange for rankings, placement, or favorable treatment in our price comparisons.
Why This Matters
The research peptide market has a trust problem. Vendor review sites, comparison tools, and "unbiased" guides frequently operate on pay-to-play models. A vendor pays a fee, and suddenly they're "recommended" or mysteriously rank first in every comparison.
This creates real problems for researchers and buyers. You think you're getting objective information, but you're actually seeing an advertisement disguised as editorial content. Prices look competitive until you realize the "comparison" excluded cheaper options that didn't pay for inclusion.
How PeptidePriceMatch Actually Works
Our rankings are determined by one factor: price. When you search for a compound, vendors appear in order from lowest to highest cost. That's it.
We don't charge vendors for listings. We don't offer "premium placement." We don't run sponsored results that look like organic rankings. We don't accept "review fees" or "partnership contributions" that magically improve a vendor's position.
Our price data comes from direct monitoring of vendor websites. We update it regularly to catch price changes, sales, and stock status. If a vendor's price drops, they move up. If it increases, they move down. The algorithm doesn't care about relationships or revenue.
How We Keep the Lights On
Fair question. If we don't take vendor money, how does this site exist?
We use affiliate links where available. When you click through to a vendor and make a purchase, we may receive a commission. This happens after you've already seen the honest price comparison. The commission doesn't affect ranking order, which vendor appears first, or whether a vendor gets listed at all.
Some vendors we list don't have affiliate programs. They still appear in our comparisons because our job is showing you accurate prices, not maximizing our commission potential.
What This Means for You
When you use PeptidePriceMatch, you're seeing actual market prices sorted by cost. Not curated recommendations based on who paid the most. Not "editor's picks" influenced by backend deals.
This approach only works if researchers trust the data. The moment rankings become purchasable, the tool becomes useless.
